OK folks, we are raising the stakes. If anyone can find a positive answer
to the question below, you can win a free seat at the AccessU conference
($525 value) coming up in May. So far, I have struck out!

I found this site, though it's not an actual theater. They are a site that provides accessibility assistance for NYC theater. Disclaimer: I haven't test it yet to validate the WCAG 2.0 AA compliancy they mention.

http://www.theatreaccess.nyc/FAQ

And if you aren't limiting it to the United States, this UK site claims they are WCAG 2.0 AA compliant as well. Again, I haven't tested this site but will try to get to it later this week.

The closest I found was the Kennedy center's website:
https://www.kennedy-center.org.

When tested with NVDA screen reader and Firefox browser, I could go through
the ticketing process (select venue, select best seat, quantity, etc.) to
get all the way to the create account page, though there were of course
several medium-to serious issues along the way. The ticketing process has a
'Best Available' seat option which allows the user to skip the inaccessible
image-based seat maps (which all ticketing websites inevitably fail). This,
in combination with choosing 'Accessibility Seating' toggle switch in the
'off' position (ironically enough) on the next page will allow the customer
to get all the way to the point where all they need to do is create an
account and choose a payment method.

Note: I haven't thoroughly tested the website nor the full ticketing
process. However, the website seems reasonable well structured, using
proper titles, landmarks, and such.

tried it and most of it worked but it was more a listing of what was and
was not accessible and which theaters had what. couldn't make reservations
that I could find, didn't even have a link to the theater or a phone
number that I found in a quick look. so find show, find you can get in.
then have to call theater or some other booking agent to get tickets it
appears.

Thanks, Bob. Yeah, I figured that one probably didn't hit the mark of a beginning to end workflow. I'm guessing Bradford may be a better test case.

I echo bob's experience with the theatre access page.
when I went to find a show, I was stunned at the options. However there
are only script buttons, no active links associated with the view show
names. I i Could see harry Potter, or Hamilton with audio description, I
cannot choose view those shows for more details though.

Gosh that was sensational!
Only little thing I personally noticed is that there are 2 early links
that just say link.
Everything else was easy to find, although I did not try to buy tickets.
Makes me miss my d. c. law school days though.
fine site at least in lynx, which was updated on 21 March 2018 by the way.

Gosh that was sensational!
Only little thing I personally noticed is that there are 2 early links that
just say link.
Everything else was easy to find, although I did not try to buy tickets.
Makes me miss my d. c. law school days though.
fine site at least in lynx, which was updated on 21 March 2018 by the way.

I can top that one.
Reached the page, but when I chose buy tickets, got
unable to retrieve performances at this time, and one additional error
about tickets.
granted there may be nothing for sale but given the images from Carmen and
other performances being featured, the lack of offerings seems unlikely.
